The Nokia 700 is a recently released handset from Nokia, which combines aesthetic appeal and practical use perfectly. The unit is powered by a 1 GHz processor in conjunction with a 2-D/3-D graphics accelerator whilst also utilising the Symbian belle operating system. The handset itself has dimensions which measure 110 mm x 50 mm wide whilst being 9 mm thick and weighing 96 g in weight.
The handsets display screen is an impressive 3.2 inches in size and is an AMOLED capacitive display screen, which not only displays outstanding quality imagery by virtue of the fact that within its 360 x 640 pixels resolution it can accurately display up to 16 million colours, but also the fact that it offers touch screen functionality. In terms of imagery the handset also comes with the Nokia clear black display feature whilst also offering durability by virtue of the gorilla glass display which is provided. The handset comes with accelerometer and proximity sensors as standard whilst also offering ring of vibration alert options, loudspeaker, 3.5 mm jack as well as a phone book and call records functionality.
The unit comes with 2 GB of internal memory capacity, which can be supplemented by utilising the available micro-SD card slot, which enables the user to increase the memory capacity 32 GB. In terms of connectivity the handset comes with Bluetooth and micro-USB connectivity in conjunction with 3G and Wi Fi options to provide high-speed Internet access. In addition the unit comes with class 33 versions of GPRS and EDGE in conjunction with satellite navigation which has the benefits of A-GPS support utilises Nokia maps 3.06.
The handset comes with a raft of additional features which include a 5.0 megapixel camera that not only takes effective still imagery but also provides the opportunity to record video at 720 pixels. The unit comes with NFC support, a TV-out as well as a stereo FM radio, selection of games and an MP4/MP3 multimedia player.
